The Lifeplus philosophy leads with a holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing. Before we experienced a world-wide pandemic, mental health issues were increasing, and we felt the need to really understand the core of the problem. Why have prescriptions for anti-depressant drugs doubled in a decade and what alternative treatments are available to reverse this trend? With so much conflicting information out there, we wanted to give ordinary people a voice.
In January 2020 we commissioned a national UK survey of 2000 adults that sought to explore attitudes towards mental health. To understand the role that social media plays and what participants feel about the aspects of lifestyle, diet, exercise, and health supplements. In short ‘what is the alternative to anti-depressant medication?’*
The survey results are surprising and enlightening, they give us a real insight into critical issues at ground level and reinforced our commitment to provide expert advice and guidance to assist.
